The pictorial postmark ties the new stamp and stamps for her presidential Friends and Foes: JFK (Sc. 5175), LBJ (1503), Nixon (2955), Bush (5393) and Reagan (4494). Kennedy was so close a friend that he even sent a government plane to bring her husband back to Washington after he had a meltdown in Arizona. Phil Graham was a major advisor to Johnson and she remained a close friend with LBJ for the rest of his life. She was never really friends with George Bush, but the relationship was further strained when Newsweek magazine (owned by her company) published a cover story during his 1988 campaign, "Fighting the Wimp Factor."
