    Not for Sale

Why Maine and not other Statehood issues? I decided to produce a Dragon Card when the first-day for this issue was moved to my birthday. I don't think there's been a stamp issued on March 15th since 1981 — 39 years ago, before I began making Dragon Cards! (Feel free to let me know if I missed one.)

Then I realized my wife and I had visited Maine in October 2018, and I looked for photographs I'd taken that I thought were evocative of the Pine Tree State. I found three I liked, and the results are above.
