    Dgn 685: Sc. N/A Jackie Robinson Centennial — Not a first-day. Sc. 3186c Jackie Robinson, 3187c Shot Heard ‘Round The World and 3187j World Series Rivals (Subway Series), all from the Celebrate the Century series, on a leftover 5"x7" Dragon Card for the 3187 stamps. Robinson played in all the Subway Series games as well as that historic 1951 game. The card shows 1950s subway maps showing all 3 home fields. The special January 31, 2019, Cairo GA postmark notes the centennial of his birth. Only 4 were made. Note that the postmark only touches 2 of the 3 stamps — larger illustration (new window).

    Vancouver Asahi baseball team (Canada)

    Dgn 687: Sc. TBA Asahi Baseball — 5"x7" Dragon Card reproducing a montage of the team playing, a jersey and a baseball. This is the Japanese-Canadian amateur or semi-pro team that played until the start of World War II, when the players were sent off to internment camps.
