Sc. 6003 U.S. Army Band on a 5"x7" Dragon Card showing a photo of the band in 1925. "Pershing's Own" was established in 1925. The pictorial postmark ties Sc. 1214 Gen. John J. Pershing and Sc. 3153 "Stars & Stripes Forever." Pershing ordered the establishment of the U.S. Army Band in 1922. It is known as "Pershing's Own." Great for a music- or military-on-stamps collection!
