Sc. 5834-43 Underground Railroad UO on a 5"x7" Dragon Card reproducing a 1975 drawing of the Seven Chimneys House in Washington Township, Bergen County, NJ. Built in 1745 and still occupied today, it is believed to have been a "station" on the Underground Railroad. Random singles were used; none of the people on the stamps are known to have had any connection to this "station." Township of Washington unofficial-location postmark on the first-day. Great for a Black History- or civil war-on-stamps collection!
