With stamps for close friends Ernest Hemingway and James Stewart, and John Wayne, who accepted Coop's 1952 Oscar for him (even though he didn't approve of "High Noon"'s anti-blacklisting message) and picked up at least 3 roles that Cooper turned down. Stewart also accepted Cooper's honorary Oscar for him, and, when he said, "This one's for you, Coop" to the audience, revealed that Cooper was dying of cancer. — larger illustration (new window)...$5.00
